We did two days on the river. Kevin was a great guide on day 1, and was especially patient with me. He did a great job teaching me what to do and how to be most efficient.
Day 2 was amazing. Jake, you were a total blast and our group flat out rocked. I sincerely appreciated his visual demonstrations for fishing, signs of bites, what to do, etc.
Campground was clean and easy. The folks there were friendly and it truly felt as if we landed in a place amongst friends. Could not have asked for more!

Ignatz was amazing!! We heard that it was a tough season for King’s entering the charter and almost backed out. Sooooo glad we didn’t! Ignatz was the man and took us to all the spots and was a great coach. There was 4 of us in the group and all 4 of us landed a King!!! Would definitely set up another tour. What a great group!! We have been fishing here for years, always had great guides! We fished two mornings (7/16 and 7/18 2018) with Andrew and have never had anyone any more personable, kind and considerate than him. He was safety conscious and knew where and how to catch kings. THE FIRST SOCKEYE LIMITS OF THE YEAR HAVE BEEN CAUGHT! The fish are in the river!
The 2025 forecast is calling for an OUTSTANDING sockeye return to the Copper River system with approximately 2.6 MILLION fish projected - setting up for a potential harvest of 1.9 million sockeye!
